At the turn of the century, the Pennsylvania Railroad adopted five freight cars as "standard" for simplicity and efficiency of maintenance. The designs included the GLA hopper, GSA gondola, NC cabin car (caboose), XL box car, and the FM flat car. This classic workhorse comes complete with DD1-A containers, in the familiar PRR "red" paint and lettering schemes.

Like all Funaro & Camerlengo resin kits, this high quality, finely detailed hand-made freight car has been painstakingly recreated for the serious modeler and hobbyist.
