The function of a vitamin K2 supplement is unique among other vitamins; its biological role is to help move calcium into the proper areas in your child's body.
During childhood and adolescence, bones are highly active and osteocalcin levels are 8 to 10 times higher compared to adult bones. Unfortunately, many children are vitamin K deficient, so supplementing with vitamin K2 for kids should be considered.
